Police: Driver loses control, flips vehicle in Mecosta County crash

FORK TOWNSHIP, Mich. — One person was hospitalized following a crash in Mecosta County Monday morning,

It happened around 7:45 a.m. along 18 Mile Road near 20th Avenue in Fork Township.

Jacob Myers, 22, was driving west on 18 Mile Road when he lost control and flipped his vehicle several times, according to a press release from the Mecosta County Sheriff’s Office. Police say Myers swerved to miss an orange cone in the roadway, struck a tree stump and a large rock before rolling the vehicle.

Myers was injured and taken to the hospital for treatment in Big Rapids.
