BERRIEN COUNTY, Mich. — An construction accident in Watervliet Township killed a man and injured another Tuesday evening.
Berrien County deputies say they were called to 8901 Industrial Park Dr in Watervliet Twp just before 7 p.m. They say two men – Carl Lee Stone and Joshua Stone – were on top of a scaffolding when it collapsed.
Both men fell. Carl Stone was pronounced dead at the scene; Joshua Stone was taken to the hospital.
The incident is under investigation.
