MUSKEGON, Mich. – A man wanted for a Muskegon murder has been arrested in Arizona.

Royderrick Collier was arrested Wednesday at a residence in Glendale, Arizona.  He is wanted as a suspect in the murder of Naethon Darnel Sims, 17, on Saturday, June 18.

Muskegon police say that Collier was wanted on charges of open murder, two counts of assault with intent to murder and two counts of felony firearms.

In June, Muskegon Police said that Collier had last been seen in Grand Rapids.  After working with the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force in Grand Rapids, they were able to determine that Collier was in the Phoenix, Arizona area.  U.S. Marshals in Phoenix were contacted, which led to Collier’s arrest Wednesday.

Collier is currently in the Maricopa County Jail awaiting extradition to Michigan.
