NEWAYGO, Mich.– A Grant teen has been arrested and charged for two break-ins earlier this month.
Demonte Shannon, 18, of Grant was arrested and arraigned in the 78th District Court in Newaygo on Thursday afternoon. Shannon is suspected of breaking and entering the Choice One Bank and the Depot Restaurant.
Grant Police say that Shannon entered Choice One Bank at about 2:30a.m. on August 9 by throwing rocks at the glass and breaking it. He entered the building, but did not steal anything.
