Family to continue searching daily for missing Kalamazoo man

FULTON, Mich. – The family of a missing Kalamazoo man say they will be searching daily until he is found.

Arthur Baker, 69, has been missing since Monday. Baker’s son, Michael Holewa says that the sheriff’s department has called off their search, but he’ll be coordinating search parties, starting at 9:00am every day, starting from the Christian Church in Fulton at 14108 east W Avenue.

Holewa says they are currently concentrating on the corn fields south of Fulton on 42nd Street.  He says they have a drone searching nearby bean fields and some volunteers are coming on Saturday on horseback.

Baker last seen walking in the 14000 block of 42nd Street in the village of Fulton Monday afternoon.  He’s described as 5’04, 190 lbs and bald.  Anyone with information about Baker’s whereabouts should call the sheriff’s department at 269-383-8723.
