Missing 11-year-old Byron Township boy found

UPDATE (5:35 p.m.) — Sheriff’s deputies report that Jayme Cole has been found safe and was returned to his parent.s

BYRON TOWNSHIP, Mich. — Jayme Cole, 11, was reported missing Tuesday by the Kent County Sheriff’s Department.

Cole has been missing since about 11 a.m. Tuesday.  He was last seen in the 6600 block of Division Avenue SW in Cutlerville, but officials say he lives in the 200 block of Inca Drive SW in Byron Township.

He is described by police as 4 feet 6 inches tall and 75 pounds with blonde hair and green eyes.  He was last seen wearing red shorts, a black shirt and red and black shoes.

Officials say in a release that Cole’s hair is longer than in the photograph of him that they provided.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call the sheriff’s department at 616-632-6357.
