Holland gas station robbed Tuesday morning

HOLLAND, Mich. – Police are investigating an armed robbery early Tuesday morning at a gas station.

The robbery happened about 5:00am at the Speedway gas station at 746 Chicago Drive.

Police say the suspect showed the clerk a handgun and demanded money. He got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect is described as a light-skinned black man, between 25 and 35 years old, about 5’4″ to 5’6″ tall, thin, with black hair and a thin mustache and beard.  He was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and khaki pants. Surveillance photos may be released later.
