Police: Grand Rapids stabbing suspect turns self in

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — A 24-year-old man wanted in connection with stabbing his wife turned himself in Thursday, according to Grand Rapids Police.

Julio Lara is accused of stabbing his wife during an argument Aug. 11 in the 400 block of Graham Street SW.   The 24-year-old woman was seriously injured in the incident.

Lara faces charges of assault with intent to murder and unlawful driving away of an automobile, according to a release.
