Eating the Mediterranean way at the Fulton Street Farmer’s Market

When you go to the farmer's market, there's a variety of veggies, fruits, and homemade local products to choose from.

Leigh Ann and Dr. Diana Bitner went out to see all the options you can choose form to make delicious Mediterranean dishes!

Did you know that eating a Mediterranean Diet can prevent and reverse metabolic syndrome, heart disease, high blood pressure, and diabetes? Eating the Mediterranean Way is a program through Spectrum Health  that will teach you how to make delicious healthy snacks and recipes. They do all the work for you by choosing all of your food options based on the Mediterranean diet and using ingredients from the Fulton Farmer's Market.

The series starts on September 20 and goes through December 1.
