ISABELLA COUNTY, Mich. — The Isabella County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fail-to-report accident that caused several thousand dollars in damage to one of the Isabella County Fairgrounds buildings.

Sometime between Thursday and Friday, the suspect and vehicle left the roadway on Mission Road and went through a ditch and then drove straight through the building at the fairgrounds, located at 500 N. Mission Road. One of the main support beams of the building was broken off, along with other parts of the structure.

The vehicle tracks indicated that the driver drove in circles inside the building prior to exiting it.

The accompanying picture is a part of the vehicle’s grill that was recovered from the scene. It is believed to be from a 1990s to 2000 Dodge.

The Sheriff’s Office is asking for any information on this accident or if anyone knows or has seen a Dodge vehicle missing a portion of the honeycomb design grill to call Isabella County Central Dispatch at (989) 773-1000.
