DELTON, Mich. – A Barry County man is in custody for allegedly killing his girlfriend earlier this week.
Douglas Allen Wortinger, 50, was charged with Open Murder by the Barry County Prosecutor.
Sheriff’s deputies say that Karinsa Wisniewski, 39, was found dead at a home in the 5400 block of Lindsey Road in Delton on Monday. Wortinger was apparently Wisniewski’s boyfriend.
Investigators say that the two were involved in a fight Sunday afternoon near the Fish Lake boat landing near Guernsey Lake Road. Anyone who may have witnessed the altercation should call detectives at 269-948-4801.
