IONIA, Mich. – Two adults and four juveniles are suspects in a break-in and theft at an Ionia County school over the weekend.

Ionia Department of Public Safety officers say there were called to Saints Peter and Paul School Sunday morning on reports of a breaking and entering.  They found that someone had broken into the school office and stolen money and other items.

A few hours later, dispatch was called to check on a person who had an injury and large amount of cash.  The same officer who responded to the break-in, responded to this call.  He was able to get the person to confess to the break-in and get other names of suspects allegedly involved in the crime.

Officers say they were able to recover much of the stolen property.  Possible charges have been forwarded to the Ionia County Prosecutor.
