CHESTERFIELD, Mich. – A Michigan mom shared a video on Facebook of her 9-year-old son standing for the national anthem.

The remarkable thing about the post though is that Rebecca Wilson’s son, Logan, has cerebral palsy and can’t walk. Her post says that “even my 9-year-old with CP knows you’re supposed to stand up during the national anthem.”

Colin Kaepernick of the San Francisco 49ers has kneeled during the national anthem so far this season to protest the treatment of African Americans by police.  A handful of other athletes have joined him in the protest.
