MUSKEGON, Mich. — The Muskegon County Prosecutor has scheduled an 11:45 a.m. press conference to provide an update on the Jessica Heeringa case.

Heeringa disappeared in April 2013 from the gas station where she worked in Norton Shores.

Jeffrey Willis was identified as a person of interest in her disappearance earlier this year after being arrested for an abduction of a 16-year-old girl.  That girl got away, but Willis was found to have a van loaded with restraints, sedatives, and a gun.  He was later charged with the 2014 murder of Rebekah Bletsch, as well as the abduction of the 16-year-old.

Investigators have been combing Willis' Norton Shores home and the nearby home of his grandfather for clues.

We will have a live report from the courthouse with  Muskegon County Prosecutor D.J. Hilson during FOX 17 News Midday. Today's press conference will also be live streaming on FOX17Online.com, the FOX 17 app and on Facebook.
