THREE RIVERS, Mich.– A larceny investigation turned to a high-speed chase and meth bust on Monday.

Around 9:00pm Monday, Three Rivers Police were called to investigate a theft at a home on East Michigan Ave. in Three Rivers.  They found that the home  had been ransacked and some items stolen, including prescription medication and an air-pistol.

Police then found a vehicle that they suspected was involved in the theft and tried to pull the driver over. The driver didn’t stop and led police on a high-speed chase going south on Constantine Rd., with speeds reaching 100mph.

The driver eventually crashed in White Pigeon and ran from the scene.  K9 units and an anonymous tip led to a home on N. Kalamazoo St., where the driver was found and arrested around 10:30pm. Police say they found meth and the stolen items with the suspect.

Three Rivers Police also arrested a 22-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman that were at the home. Identities of the suspects are not being released at this time.
