ROCKFORD, Mich. – The 4th annual COQ to the Fly event, combining beer and bikes and showcasing a collaboration between West Michigan’s most prominent breweries, will hit the trails of Grand Rapids and Rockford today.

Beginning at Brewery Vivant, participants will bike 14.7 miles from East Grand Rapids to Rockford Brewing, using the White Pine Trail. Riders will start gathering at noon and the first wave of cyclists will hit the road at 1 p.m. Once they arrive, the event will have food, live music and beer tents. Brewery Vivant and Rockford Brewing even took time to create a special brew, Harvest Hub, for the annual event.

The ride is directed by The Spoke Folks. It is free but organizers are asking all participants to register in order to gain access to the post-ride party.
