GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — One man is dead after a double shooting in the southeast side of Grand Rapids.
Grand Rapids Police said the shooting happened at a home in the 1400 block of Eastern Avenue SE around 9:30 p.m. Officers found two victims there; one had walked about half a block away towards the O & E Party Store, where he died from his injuries. The second man was in the home and was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Police say two suspects were seen leaving the home after the shooting. Early Tuesday morning, officers said that one suspect was being detained, and they were still looking into whether or not anyone else may have been involved.
