PAW PAW TOWNSHIP, Mich. — Michigan State Police Troopers say a man is facing multiple felony charges, after he allegedly took a woman captive, took her to another residence, and held her against her will.

According to MSP, the 22-year-old suspect broke into a home on 47th Avenue in Paw Paw Township at approximately 3:00 a.m. on Sunday. He physically took a woman — whom he knows, but their relationship is not clear at this time — and transported her to another home in Calhoun County.  He held her against her will until Troopers located him and took him into custody early Monday morning.

The suspect was arrested for 1st Degree Home Invasion and Unlawful Imprisonment.
