Say hello to Bailey, he's a 2-year-old Chihuahua, Short Coat/Dachshund, Standard Smooth Haired mix looking for his new home!
Right now the Humane Society of West Michigan is having their "I Like Big Mutts" dog adoption special. Dogs 40 pounds or more are just $100. This is funded through Best Friends Animal Society and will pay for a number of adoptions until funding runs out.
There's also a special on cats, all adoption fees are waived for cats five months or older.
Bark in the Dark is also coming up! The 5K Run/Walk is happening October 8 at Riverside Park, where many dogs will be available for adoption and raising money for the Humane Society West Michigan. The activities start at 6:30 p.m. and registration costs $35.
