GRAND RAPIDS, Mich -- Grand Rapids Christian senior Xavier Tillman selected Michigan State to play his college basketball at a ceremony Friday at Grand Rapids Christian High School.
"Coach Izzo and the players I knew I gelled well with the players and I loved the way they gelled together" Tillman said when asked why he picked Michigan State. "The atmosphere at Michigan State is unlike any other school, it's so together, if you go to a football game they are so together, so energized, there is no way I could pick anywhere else."
Tillman is the top ranked player in the state of Michigan for the class of 2018 and chose the Spartans over Purdue and Marquette.
