Suspect arrested after making a bomb threat at the Kalamazoo Metro Transit

KALAMAZOO, Mich. — A 47-year-old resident of Kalamazoo was arrested after reportedly making a bomb threat Friday evening.

Passengers were getting off the Kalamazoo Metro Transit when a male passenger said there was a bomb on board the bus, according to a press release from Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety.  The alleged threat was reported to authorities around 8:15 p.m.

The bomb squad found  no evidence of a bomb found on board and the suspect was taken to the Kalamazoo County jail.
