Hansel and Gretel

If you are coming downtown for the final weekend of ArtPrize, make sure to schedule in a showing of CARE Ballet's Hansel and Gretel.

The performance is based on the Grimms Brothers' fairy tale of a brother and sister held captive by an evil witch after becoming hopelessly lost in the woods.

There are three showings, two on Saturday at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m., and one on Sunday at 3 p.m.

Greenville Octoberfest

If you're looking to get some brews, chews, and grooves this weekend, you'll want to head over to the Montcalm County Fairgrounds for Greenville Octoberfest.

There'll be a lineup of 10 local bands including performances by Kill All Control, and Matt Williams. There will be a variety of local vendors and breweries to enjoy, and fun activities for the kids too!

It runs all day from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. and tickets range from $7 to $10.

All money made from this event goes towards local music educational programs for kids.

Zeeland Pumpkin Fest

Two days of fun are waiting for the whole gang at the 2016 Zeeland Pumpkinfest.

Clydesdale horse wagon rides, scavenger hunts, a pumpkin pie eating contest, bounce houses, face painting and much more are happening on both Friday and Saturday this week.
