Trump: ‘I said it, I was wrong, and I apologize’

(CNN) — Donald Trump apologized Saturday morning for sexually aggressive remarks he made a decade ago.

Trump said in a video statement that his 2005 comments — in which he bragged about trying to have sex with a married woman and being able to grope women — do not represent who he is.

But, he said, “I said it, I was wrong, and I apologize.”

He pledged to be a better man.

He added, “This is nothing more than a distraction from the important issues we’re facing today. We’re losing our jobs, we’re less safe than we were eight years ago and Washington is totally broken. Hillary Clinton and her kind has run our country into the ground.”

Funny that many of those seizing on this opportunity to attack Trump are the same ones who would bristle at the idea of society openly EXPECTING people to adhere to the codes of conduct he violated.

The comments from Trump should not be any surprise to those who have been watching him on TV the last few decades; but it makes it to the top of the news page.
Clintons private speeches in the last few years are leaked, exposing her destructive ideology for a world economy and the news is BURIED on all the mainstream and local media outlets.
If people don’t wake up and realize which problem poses more of a threat to themselves… we as a sovereign country are doomed.
But truthfully, it is sad that these are the “top candidates” our country has to offer? Maybe we deserve to disappear into the pages of history.

Amazing that somebody comes up with this tape magically after eleven years, but the FBI can’t find half of Hillary’s tapes. At any rate, If what Trump did was illegal, half the adult male population of the United States would be in prison, and he’s got the guts to admit it.

    Obama would have blamed Bush.
Hillary would have claimed a video caused it.

Al Sharpton would just claim racism and find a way to make a few million off it.
