The use of arts in a health care setting can be a powerful healing tool. RaNae Couture, BFA, LPN, CBIS, sees it first hand as she works with people who have suffered traumatic brain injuries.

On Tuesday, Oct. 25 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Spectrum Health Neuro Residential is hosting its annual art exhibit which features the work of artists who are living with severe brain injuries. Art will sell between $30 -$100 as well as 2017 calendars, note pads, mouse pads and lunch bags.

To attend, head to Neuro Rehabiliation Services-Residential, Homeward Central, at 4130 Kalamazoo Ave. SE, Grand Rapids. If you are interested in the items but can not attend, please call 616.486.7056.
