GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- Superstars like Lady Gaga and Beyonce have worn her outfits, and now, a dutch fashion designer is bringing her creations to west Michigan.

Iris van Herpen interned under legendary fashion designer Alexander McQueen, and her designs are regularly featured in Paris runway shows.

Now, she's got an exhibit at the Grand Rapids Art Museum for the Iris van Herpen: Transforming Fashion.

How much time is put in to each piece:

Forty-five pieces from her collections over the years are on display, as well as several shoe designs.

Iris van Herpen was the first designer to send a 3D printed dress down the runway.

The exhibit also lets you get hands on, with a "touch material" section.

It opens to the public October 23rd through January 15th.
