GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — One week before the election, Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump will hold a rally in Grand Rapids on Monday, a campaign official confirmed to FOX 17.

The campaign announced at midday Saturday that Trump plans to hold a rally at noon Sunday at the DeltaPlex in Walker.  Trump’s campaign previously announced a rally at 3 p.m. Sunday in the Detroit area at Macomb Community College.

The Detroit News reports the decision to return to Michigan was made prior to news on Friday that the FBI was investigating newly uncovered emails potentially related to its probe of Hillary Clinton’s private email server.

Trump visited Grand Rapids about a month ago for a private fundraiser, but did make a public stop to the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum.  He held a rally at the DeltaPlex in December, during the primaries.  The Monday stop would be his sixth campaign visit to the state since winning the nomination this summer.

Vice Presidential nominee Mike Pence visited the DeltaPlex for a rally in July.
