Regional Titles on the Line in High School Football

LOWELL, Mich -- It is regional finals weekend for high school football teams, two more wins gets you to Ford Field.

In division 2, Forest Hills Central (9-2) travels to Lowell (11-0) for a rematch from a week 7 Red Arrows win 41-37.  Lowell trailed 30-7 late in the second quarter of the game before rallying for the win.  The Red Arrows have trailed at halftime in five of their games this season.

In division 3, Byron Center (10-1) travels to Muskegon (10-1), the Bulldogs only loss came in week to at the hands of the Big Reds 49-14

In division 4, Unity Christian (9-2) will host Lakewood (10-1) at Jenison High School, the Crusaders beat the Vikings 32-13 in the first round of the postseason last year.  Lakewood had not won a playoff game in school history before this season.

In division 8, Climax-Scotts (11-0) makes the trip to Ottawa Lake Whiteford (11-0), these teams met in the regional final in Panther country last season with Bobcats coming out on top 48-14.

Saturday's games include:

Division 1 - Grandville (10-1) at Detroit Catholic Central (11-0) 1 p.m.

Division 4 - Escanaba (9-2) at Grand Rapids Catholic Central (10-1) 1 p.m.

Division 5 - West Catholic (9-2) at Berrien Springs (10-1) 4 p.m.

Division 6 - Leroy Pine River (8-3) at Ravenna (9-2) 1 p.m.

Division 7 - Pewamo-Westphalia (11-0) vs. Traverse City St. Francis (11-0) at Thirby Field in Traverse City
