Greater Kalamazoo Girls on the Run is getting ready to kick-off their 15th season this spring.
Girls on the Run is a program for girls between 3rd and 5th grade, where they train to run a 5k while learning to live a healthy lifestyle.
Registration for Girls on the Run cost $165 and ends on Wednesday, November 16. There is financial assistance available if needed.
They're expecting nearly 2,000 girls to sign-up, but they need your help to collect money for their financial assistance.
To help raise money for girls that can't afford to pay the registration fee, you can participate in the Tutu Run.
The race will be happening on Saturday, December 10 at Spring Valley Park in Kalamazoo. Registration for the Tutu Run costs $25 per person.
