West Michigan – There won’t be any snow to track, but the weather for the opening day of firearm deer season looks pretty good. No rain is expected and temperatures should be comfortable.

Early morning temperatures will be in the low to mid 40s. Expect mostly cloudy skies. There is the possibility of some areas of fog, which could reduce visibility.  Winds will be light south under 5 mph.

Skies will remain mostly cloudy for the afternoon hours with temperatures reaching the mid 50s. Winds will become west-southwest but remain around 6-12 mph.

The rest of the week looks dry until late Friday. Temperatures will stay well above average with highs in the 60s Thursday and Friday. Much colder air swings in for the weekend with highs back in the low 40s. Some rain and snow is expected Saturday,  but little or no accumulation of snow is expected.
