Both women have several aliases and were arrested on November 11 after they were seen on closed circuit cameras allegedly taking jewelry valued at over $6,700 from the Norton Shores Kohl’s.  They were stopped before getting out of the store.  The women were also found allegedly trying to take cologne from the store as well.

According to Tim Maat with the prosecutor’s office, Dawes has prior felony convictions of larceny of a firearm, financial transaction device fraud and being an inmate in possession of a contraband.  He says she also has misdemeanor convictions for domestic violence and driving “super drunk.”

Also, according to Maat, Sochacki has three past felony convictions for possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor convictions of shoplifting and second-degree retail fraud.
