The weather's getting colder and the snow is fast approaching, so here's some fun winter themed events that will be fun for the whole family.

2nd Annual Reindeer Run

There's still time to get in one last bike ride before the snow and ice hits the area. Bring the family to Fifth Third Ballpark on Friday to the second annual Reindeer Ride.

It's a non-competitive bike ride throughout the ballpark's famous Christmas Lite Show. Riders can decorate their bike for a chance to win prizes, and there will be hot chocolate waiting at the end of the trail.

Tickets are $10 each or $25 for a family of four at the gate. Pre-register at their website to get a $5 coupon.

Beauty and the Beast

The Grand Rapids Civic Theatre is proud to present the musical "Beauty and the Beast." Opening night if Friday and the show runs through December 18.

The musical is based on the Academy Award Winning animated feature from Disney. The show is recommended for ages six and up. Tickets range from $18 to $37 and can be ordered on GRCT.org.

Santa Parade

Come see floats, balloons, Fox 17, and Santa himself at this year's 2016 Art Van Santa Parade presented by the Grand Rapids Jaycees.

Bundle up and head downtown to catch the bands, carolers, and local performers on Saturday morning.

The parade runs down Monroe Avenue in downtown Grand Rapids starting at 9 a.m. with Mayor Rosalyn Bliss as this year's Grand Marshal.
