Bring your kids out for Santa’s Workshop at the library today

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - If you plan to take the family to the Art Van and the Jaycee's Santa Parade in downtown Grand Rapids Saturday, stop at the library after.

The Grand Rapids Public Library will be hosting Santa’s Workshop, a holiday event for all ages.

The Workshop will start immediately after the Santa Claus Parade, 10:00 am – 12:00 pm at the Main Library – 111 Library St NE. Parking is free in the library’s lot.

Santa and Mrs. Claus will be on hand to greet all the good little boys and girls. Children can talk with Santa and hear stories and sign songs with Mrs. Claus.

Holiday goodies and crafts will also be available. Children can also participate in the annual lighting of the Library Tree.

Create holiday crafts and warm up with a cup of hot chocolate. Decorate your very own     tabletop holiday tree and help us light the Library Tree!

Join us for special holiday-themed books and activities.

11:15 pm | Here Comes Santa Claus!
