Former WMU football player arrested again in Ohio

WEST CHESTER, Ohio — A former football player for Western Michigan is in trouble with the law again after an arrest out of state last weekend.

Bryson Corshun White was arrested on Nov. 26 in West Chester, Ohio, for allegedly attacking a woman.  Police say White put his white%2c-bryson-mugshot1hands around her neck and choked her.

Bryson White is one of two now former WMU football players also accusedin a Kalamazoo-area incident that happened earlier in the year on the weekend of Aug. 26 and 27. Ronald George is accused of assault and robbery alongside White in that case. Both were kicked off the football team later that weekend. Both were freshmen in their first year at WMU.

Both men are still set to go to trial in that case out of Kalamazoo.

According to police reports obtained from the Mason Police Department out of Ohio,  White also had several brushes with the law as a juvenile. White was a running back on the Mason High School football team.

More recently, White was charged with Operating Under the Influence of marijuana in March.

According to the report, police stopped White’s vehicle for an illegal lane change. Three friends of White were also in the vehicle and one of them was found to be carrying a defaced handgun. White admitted that the group had been smoking marijuana and was cited.
