President-elect Trump returning to Grand Rapids on ‘thank you’ tour

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Then-candidate Donald Trump came to Grand Rapids on the eve of the election, and now the president-elect plans to return as part of his “thank you” tour.

President-elect Trump is set to visit Grand Rapids on Friday for a scheduled 7:00 p.m. event at the Deltaplex Arena.

On the night before the election, Trump joined running mate Mike Pence for a rally at DeVos Place in downtown Grand Rapids.  He had held previous campaign events at the DeltaPlex in Walker.
