WEST MICHIGAN- A business owner who was the subject of several complaints to the FOX 17 Problem Solvers is now behind bars.

Dallas Anderson, who had been the owner and operator of J.R. Logging had been accused by multiple people in Allegan, Calhoun and Kalamazoo counties of removing trees from peoples' yards without permission. Several people say he also removed them from neighbors' yards. In one instance, a man was left with an electric bill for thousands of dollars, after Anderson allegedly dropped a tree on a power line.

Records show Anderson was arrested in October after drunk driving and trying to run away from police. It was his 3rd drunk driving offense. He's now at the Charles Egeler Reception And Guidance Center in Jackson County. We're told he could be behind bars until the year 2023.

This isn't the first time he's been in trouble. Records show Anderson has offenses dating back to 1987, ranging from drunk driving to larceny.

His business, J.R. Logging was not registered with the state's Better Business Bureau. Anderson also didn't have a Forester License.
