GRAND RAPIDS, Mich – A concentrated effort to find and arrest several suspects wanted for domestic violence has led to another arrest in Grand Rapids.

Investigators with the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force announced the arrest of Mark Cross on Friday.  Grand Rapids Police assisted with the response at a home in the 800 block of Union St. SE on December 8.

Investigators say Cross ran into a home in that area as he saw officers approach and refused to come out.  Authorities say he hid under a bed in the home until a K9 Officer was brought to the front door.  Cross surrendered to authorities shortly after hearing the K9 unit out front.

Cross was wanted on two Domestic Violence warrants prior to his arrest and was booked at the Kent County Jail.

Cross is one of several suspects named by law enforcement agencies during a Silent Observer campaign focused on finding and arresting domestic violence offenders back in October.
