WEST MICHIGAN – The morning’s commute was one of the slowest of season on area highway and side roads after overnight lake effect snow, strong winds and bitterly cold temperatures.
US-131 northbound was very slow to the S-Curve due to a crash near Wealthy Street. I-196 had a semi-truck slide off near mile marker 22.
At about 9:30am, the left lanes of northbound US-131 were blocked at West River Drive due to a crash.
