GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- Grand Rapids Police say a 21-year-old man was injured Wednesday in a shooting on the city's southeast side.
The shooting was reported at about 4:48 p.m. on Franklin Street near Geneva Avenue just east of Eastern Avenue.
GRPD says the man was found with a gunshot wound to his back and was taken to the hospital. His injuries are not life-threatening.
Police surrounded a home on that block shortly before 6 p.m. but did not find a suspect inside.
