Suspect arrested after attempted armed robbery at Grand Rapids Taco Bell

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — A man who allegedly tried to rob the Taco Bell on Leonard Street NW was arrested several hours later.

A man in his 40s went into the restaurant at 605 Leonard NW and implied he had a gun, Grand Rapids Police said. He demanded cash, but left the scene without any money.

The attempted robbery took place around 7:15 a.m. Police made an arrest just before 10 a.m.
