GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — A man was hospitalized with life threatening injuries after police say he was shot in the stomach.
The call came in around 6:35 p.m. Tuesday evening.
Police say they were called to the area of Eastern and Ballard on reports of shots fired and a man down.
Sgt. Terry Dixon told our crew at the scene a vehicle pulled up to a home near the intersection and several people got out. A suspect on the front porch of that home reportedly fired several shots towards the vehicle, striking the victim.
A suspect is in custody, as well as another person of interest.
