SYRACUSE, New York — Dan Renouf scored two goals as the Grand Rapids Griffins beat the Syracuse Crunch 3-2 in game 4 of the Calder Cup Finals on Friday night.

The Griffins now hold a commanding 3-1 lead in the best-of-seven Calder Cup finals.

Game 5 is Saturday night at War Memorial Arena in Syracuse. A win for Grand Rapids and they win the Calder Cup.

The Griffins last won the Calder Cup signifying the AHL championship four years ago — in 2013 under the guidance of current Detroit Red Wings coach Jeff Blashill.
