KALAMAZOO, Mich. — Staying connected is now an easy thing to do at Kalamazoo's most popular park. The city launched free Wi-Fi at Bronson Park on Friday.

"The wifi is open to anyone who wants to use it," said City of Kalamazoo Chief Information Officer Tim Clark. "We have instituted a policy to where once you’ve registered for the first time, you’ll not have to register again, provided you have the same device with you."

The Wi-Fi is free and available at any time.  They've installed four access points and users must read the rules and regulations before using it. City officials said they plan to have free wifi at all public parks and hope people will use it for whatever they please.

"By providing it to our citizens through the park for no cost, it gives them the ability to look for positions, apply for positions, go some place [and] do Facebook or LinkedIn or whatever they want to do that they may not have the ability to do at home," said Clark.
