GREENVILLE, Mich. -- It took several fire departments to put out a fire that broke out at an abandoned building overnight.

Crews on scene tell FOX 17 the fire started around 11:30 p.m. Monday at the former Northland Corporation factory in the 700 block of Ranney Drive in Greenville.

It took several hours for crews to put it out as the fire was fully involved when crews arrived.

By 3:00 a.m. Tuesday crews were still chasing hot spots.

Crews on scene say there was no one injured but the cause remains under investigation.
