WALKER, Mich. — Police say a teenage girl remains hospitalized in critical condition after being struck while crossing the street Friday night.
It happened just before 10 p.m. Friday on Alpine Avenue near Interstate 96 in Walker.
Walker Police say the teenager was hit by a vehicle while crossing the street.
The victim was taken to a nearby hospital for serious injuries.
On Sunday police told FOX 17 that the girl was hospitalized with a breathing tube in the intensive care unit where she was listed in critical condition.
No names have been released.
Police say that speed and alcohol did not appear to be factors in the accident.
