HOLLAND, Mich-- Three people have been found dead inside a home in Holland. Investigators made the discovery Sunday evening after they entered the residence.

Around 5 p.m., police received a call regarding shots fired off Westland Court near Riley Street.  More than 20 law enforcement vehicles surrounded the residence. Several deputies were also seen walking around the scene with guns drawn.

“I seen cops running around with AR-15’s and backpacks on," said neighbor Travis Jensen.  “Seen the guy in the window, I guess it’s a bedroom or something. Seen him poke his head around the corner it’s crazy.”

"I saw family members from that other house running over to a driveway," said neighbor David Lokers. "And the police presence started getting bigger and bigger and it’s just gotten crazier. There’s 28 to 30 different police vehicles here now.”

Captain Mark Bennett tells FOX 17 the incident appears to be domestic-related, with the suspected shooter among the dead inside the home.

“Through the course of that entry they found 3 deceased individuals inside of the home.  And the three individuals appear to be killed from gun shot," said Captain Bennett. "There are two males and a female deceased, ranging in ages from early 50’s to 30’s.”

Officials believe all three of the deceased are members of the same family.

Investigators say around six people lived in the home.

At this time, a motive is unknown and names have not been released.
