    KALAMAZOO, Mich— Kalamazoo Christian and Hackett Catholic both entered the night unbeaten on the season. The Comets built a big lead with Jordan Katje leading the way with 25 points on the night. Kalamazoo Christian went on to win 67-50 and they remain the only unbeaten team in the SAC Valley.

    PORTAGE, Mich— Portage Central entered the night having won three straight against Portage Northern. This one was close throughout and needed overtime to settle it, but the Mustangs would go onto win 51-47.

  • Kent City wins battle of Central States Silver

    KENT CITY, Mich— Morley Stanwood and Kent City entered the night as the top two teams in the Central States Silver conference. The Eagles built up a 19 point halftime lead en route to a 63-33 victory. Fraser Wilson led the way for the Eagles with 19 points.

  • Covenant Christian charges past Tri-Unity Christian

    WALKER, Mich— Covenant Christian entered the night with a record of 8-2 they hosted 6-1 Tri-Unity Christian. The Chargers leaned on senior Carson Meulenberg and his show stealing dunks to come away with the 54-39 victory.

  • West Ottawa defeats Grand Haven in battle of OK Red unbeatens

    GRAND HAVEN, Mich— Two of the three unbeaten teams in the OK Red met as West Ottawa made the trip to Grand Haven to take on the Buccaneers. West Ottawa came away with the 76-64 win and with Grandville falling to Rockford, the Panthers took over sole possession of first place in the OK Red.

    WYOMING, Mich— Wyoming entered the night unbeaten in OK Gold play and welcomed in conference rival South Christian. The Wolves would take control late in this one to come away with the 76-64 win.

  • Henry Ford edges out Kalamazoo Central in Don Jackson Holiday Invitational

    KALAMAZOO, Mich— Kalamazoo Central entered their annual holiday tournament with a 2-0 record and the Maroon Giants welcomed Henry Ford in the nightcap of the Don Jackson Holiday Invitational. The Trojans were able to get the 48-42 win with a 26 point performance from Anthony Roberts.

  • Mr. Basketball candidate leads East Lansing past Ottawa Hills

    KALAMAZOO, Mich— Ottawa Hills entered the night coming off a big win over St. Claire, tonight they made the trip to Kalamazoo to take part in the Don Jackson Holiday Invitational against East Lansing and Mr. Basketball candidate Brandon Johns. John had a big game putting up 23 points, 13 rebounds and 4 blocks to lead the Trojans to a 81-51 win over Ottawa Hills.

  • 3 Cougars score double figures as GR Catholic remains unbeaten

    GRAND RAPIDS, Mich— Covenant Christian entered the night 3-0 and played host to 2-0 Grand Rapids Catholic Central. The Chargers took a lead into halftime, but a big third quarter gave the edge to the Cougars as the went onto win 62-58. Carson Meulenberg led all scorers with 21 for Covenant Christian, while the Cougars featured an attack that included 15 points from each of Marcus Bingham and Jacob Polakovich and 14 points from Darrell Belcher.
