  • Driver charged in crash that left local Marine and father dead

    KENT COUNTY, Mich. — A driver involved in a January crash that left a local Marine and his father dead has been charged with several counts related to the case. U.S. Marine Joel Kinsey, 20, was killed when a vehicle he was in was involved in a crash on 14 Mile Road in Oakfield Township. His father, Jerry Kinsey, was driving the vehicle. He was initially left in critical condition following the crash. He has since died from his injuries. […]

  • 19-year-old girl missing out of Lowell found

    UPDATE: Lowell Police say that Leah Lilly has been found and thanks everyone for their help. LOWELL, Mich. — Police are asking for the public’s help Tuesday to find a missing teenager.  19-year-old Leah Lilly was last seen at the Fallasburg dam in downtown Lowell on Tuesday evening.  She was reportedly wearing black jeans and a hooded sweatshirt at the time.   • Victim identified in fatal M-37 crash as beloved young father

    TYRONE TOWNSHIP, Mich. — Police have identified the man killed in a traffic crash Monday afternoon as Matthew Hoaglin, 33, of Stanton.     GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Local comedy group Plant Parenthood has a string of live shows scheduled in the area in a run up to the summer season.     EAST LANSING, Mich. — Thirteen people are facing felony charges after hundreds gathered in East Lansing earlier this week to protest a speech by white nationalist Richard Spencer.
