    KENT COUNTY, Mich. — One of the drivers involved in a crash last week that left a U.S. Marine dead was taken into police custody afterwards on unrelated charges.     WAYLAND, Mich. — Police are investigating after a mobile home fire left one person dead Tuesday afternoon. The fire was reported at Rabbit River Estates on Homer Drive in Wayland.   • Police release more info in suspicious missing persons case

    KALAMAZOO, Mich. — Police have released more information in the case of a missing 69-year-old. William Henry Gray was last seen on December 29th.  He is being described as a 5 foot, 11 inch black man. Police say information that has been provided to them is making them consider the case suspicious. Police released a photo of Gray on Tuesday.   • US-131 and I-196 closed due to crash involving semi

    ALLEGAN COUNTY, Mich. — Portions of two major highways are facing closures Friday afternoon. South bound lanes of US-131 near mile marker 55 are currently closed due to a crash involving a jack-knifed semi truck.  Crews are currently working to clear the roadway. The Allegan County Sheriff says portions of I-196 are also closed in the county for various reasons.  If possible, they are asking the public to take alternative routes.

    GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Police say a suspect is in custody following an armed robbery just outside a home early Saturday morning.   • ICE arrests 27 people around West Michigan in 4 day operation

    GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — A recent immigration enforcement operation in West Michigan placed 27 people under arrest and facing deportation. United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) announced today that a four-day sweep this week was conducted to target “at-large aliens, illegal re-entrants and immigration violators.”  25 men and two women were arrested across West Michigan.  ICE says that 21 of the arrested individuals have prior criminal convictions in addition to their immigration status violations.   • Police investigating possible arson, homicide after body found inside a home

    DECATUR, Mich. — Sgt. Tedd Rigg said that when police arrived to the house fire on West Marys Street, they tried to enter the home but couldn’t.
