    MUSKEGON, Mich. — Teenager Keith Schillaci was sentenced Wednesday for bringing a concealed weapon onto school grounds. 18-year-old Keith Schillaci was sentenced Friday morning to 100 days in jail, with credit for already serving 81 of those.  Judge Timothy Hicks gave the teenager an additional 18 months of probation once he completes his stint in county jail.     MT. CLEMENS. — Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a 51-year-old man that was last seen Tuesday. Police say that Djon Gojcevic, 51, was last seen yesterday buying cigarettes at Buscemi’s Party Store on North Groesbeck in Mt. Clemens around 4:15pm.  He has not been seen or heard from since.     KENT COUNTY, Mich. — A man is facing federal charges after investigators say he stole checks out of mailboxes and altered them for his own gain. In a federal court filing, it is alleged that 43-year-old Gregory Warren Wade found an envelope containing a check for $173.72 in a mailbox outside of a residential home in early April of this year.   • Police rescue people stuck on train at John Ball Zoo

    GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Police responded to a call of several people stuck on a train at John Ball Zoo on Sunday afternoon. The call came in just after 1:30 p.m. for several people stuck on the ‘Funicular’ train at John Ball Zoo in Grand Rapids. Authorities were able to get everybody off the train.

  • Police: Bogus repairman steals ATMs he says he was fixing

    GRAND TRAVERSE COUNTY, Mich. — Police are investigating after two ATM machines were stolen out of separate hotels by a bogus repairman. The Grand Traverse County Sheriff’s Office received complaints Friday afternoon from two different hotels in the area—one in Traverse City and the other in Eat Bay Township.  Both locations reported having their ATM machines stolen.     ROCKFORD, Mich. — Police are searching for a driver they say hit a car on US-131 and fled the scene early Sunday.     WYOMING, Mich. — More than 1,000 people are without power Saturday evening in the Wyoming area. Consumers Energy tells FOX 17 crews were in the process of getting the power back to the affected area as of 7:00pm Saturday. The outage happened just before 6:00 p.m. The outage is currently affecting 1,037 customers in the area. Consumers doesn’t know yet when they will be able to get power back to all of those affected.
