    2 men killed, woman hurt after semitrailer hits 6 vehicles

    GREEN OAK TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) — Two men have been killed and a woman was in critical condition after the driver of a semitrailer apparently lost control and struck six vehicles on US-23 in Livingston County. Sunday afternoon’s crash in Green Oak Township left one man dead at the scene. The second man died at a hospital. Police say the truck driver wasn’t hurt. The highway was closed for a while after the crash.

    FERRYSBURG, Mich. — Police in Ottawa County say a man suffered multiple injuries after he failed to notice a road was closed and crashed into a Ferrysburg Department of Public Services truck on Tuesday night. The crash happened on Van Wagoner Street near 174th Avenue in Ferrysburg.     THORNAPPLE TOWNSHIP, Mich. — A homeowner says he lost more than a work shed in a fire early Wednesday morning — he lost a side woodworking business, as well as a boat. A driver passing by reported a possible fire on Moe Road near 108th Street in Thornapple Township in Barry County.     KENTWOOD, Mich. — Kentwood Police say that a boy who went missing late Thursday night has been found safe.     Police: Boy, 14, wounded as kids play with shotgun in Detroit

    DETROIT (AP) — Police say a shotgun fired while the weapon was being played with by children at a Detroit home, wounding a 14-year-old boy. Police say the shooting happened Monday night on the city’s east side and the boy was taken to a hospital in critical condition.
