Bio

I joined FOX 17 at the end of September 2012 as the 8 a.m. morning producer. Funny enough, my first day on the job, September 25, was also my birthday! Talk about a birthday present!

I’ve always been a fan of working early, so I enjoy the hours of the morning shift, and even more than that, I really enjoy working with the morning staff.

I was born and raised in Metro Detroit but studied at Grand Valley State University, graduating with a Bachelor’s in Broadcasting.

I did my first internship at FOX 17 and got my first taste of the inner workings of a newsroom. I’m excited to be back on the west side of the state, revisiting my favorite places in West Michigan and reconnecting with friends. When I’m outside of the newsroom, I love to paint and fill my sketchbooks, read and spend time with my family and friends.
