Annalise Kransz

Kransz A IconI’m a Producer and Reporter at FOX 17.

Why TV?…

I’ve dreamed about working in TV since I was a kid and anchored the Neighborhood News inside a cardboard box TV set for my parents and neighbors. I’m a proud Alumni of the Central Michigan University School of Broadcast and Cinematic Arts. Fire up Chips! I love reporting because it’s inspiring and sometimes heartbreaking to hear people’s stories…what makes them do what they do?

I’m just getting started in my television career besides working for our community wide station at CMU; I was a reporter at 7&4 News in Traverse City.

In my free time…

I love baking, reading, and traveling. I’m always looking for new book ideas so feel free to send them my way. Another one of my passions is watching and playing sports, mostly baseball and football. Go Tigers!

I give back to my community by…

Volunteering at various events, some of my favorites are Soup Kitchens or Habitat for Humanity builds.

Why FOX 17?…

I’m originally from Portland, Michigan (had to clarify since everyone assumes Oregon) so this job allows me to be close to home, family, and friends while still pursuing my dreams. Plus, I grew up watching FOX 17 when I was younger.
